                             January 9, 1936
My brother, Jackson Standingdeer.
       I'm sending you a letter, letting you know that the committee met afterwards. You know what happened last year, what we had considered about the gospel. $4.50 was to be collected by each group [congregation].  If you have work to finish concerning your Christian group[congregation], complete it as soon as you can, send the money to the Treasurer.  Always be alert about  the new gospel advancing forward.  Collect the money to support the gospel. Do not let our Association be in debt nor the Christian congregations.  For we pastors of the Christians should do this, press forward as they are watching us. The King [God] is looking at us to work.
      That is why, you should strive, the King [God] will help you make good progress.
